Art quilts
These are technically quilts (meaning they are comprised of at least three layers - a top, a back, and batting in between - and are bound, or finished, around the edges.
Much of my exploration of quilting has arisen though my involvement with the Modern Quilting movement. This international community promotes the art and craft of quilt-making with a modern aesthetic, and encourages experimentation with style, color, composition, and technique.

The two quilts above (Revision, and Revisited) have been selected to appear in the virtual exhibition at QuiltCon Together in Feb 2021.
They will both be available for purchase through that venue.

Sea Horizon, West (left) was my first Horizon quilt, and sparked the collection available for order on my Home Textiles page. It was chosen to be included in "Modern Quilts: Designs of the New Century" published by the Modern Quilt Guild. |
