Donna's Quilt

A friend approached me about making a quilt for her beloved aunt. Together we pored over pictures on Pinterest, and we found a concept we both loved. Keeping true to the design of the original inspiration, but using Aunt Donna's favorite colors, the result was this bright and modern abstract quilt, a clear departure from my previous projects and the largest quilt I had attempted.
The great thing about co-creating with others is that you end up trying things you wouldn't have thought of yourself, sometimes with stunning results. |
